REACH: Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/1510 amending the Appendices to Annex XVII to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the REACH as regards CMR substances

Regulation (EU) 2017/1510, which modifies the appendices to REACH Annex XVII, has been published on GUUE L224 of 31/08/2017 as regards carcinogenic, mutagenic and toxic to reproduction.

Paragraphs 28, 29 and 30 of REACH Annex XVII prohibit the placing on the market or use for sale to the general public of substances classified as Category 1A or 1B CMR and of mixtures containing such substances in certain concentrations.

The substances in question are listed in Appendices 1 to 6 to that Annex, these appendices have been updated on the basis of the harmonized classifications contained in the latest CLP ATPs.
