CLP: Inspections on classifications and labeling of mixtures

In January 2018 according to the REACH-EN-FORCE-6 Project (REF-6) checks began to verify the correspondence of the classification and labeling of mixtures with respect to safety data sheets.

31 European countries will participate in the project.

Member states can include additional modules in inspections, for example:

  • exemptions for small sizes
  • the obligation to use the harmonized classification
  • the specific requirements for liquid laundry detergents
  • authorization and labeling for biocidal products.

The inspection activities will continue throughout 2018.
