ECHA: Notifications to Poison Centers. Annex VIII CLP Regulation

The ECHA Poison Centers website has been renewed by introducing a support page that helps companies to prepare for the changes introduced by the CLP Regulation Annex VIII.

ECHA has created a step-by-step guide to inform the actors involved on:

• deadlines for submission
• type of mixture to be notified
• chemical composition
• toxicological information
• product category
• UFI code

The portal for notification will be available at the beginning of 2019, the harmonized format will also be compatible with IUCLID 6.

It will probably be possible to send a single notification to multiple designated bodies.
