ECHA: Published the formaldehyde restriction report

The raport on the restriction of Formaldehyde and on formaldehyde ceases in mixtures and articles for consumers has been published.

The proposal is to limit the placing on the market or the use of all articles containing formaldehyde in concentrations greater than or equal to 0.124 mg / m3 in air by testing in a used chamber according to the conditions indicated by EN717-1. The formaldehyde released from an article can come from formaldehyde or from substances that release formaldehyde used in the production process of the article.
