CLP: Regulation 521/2019 amends the CLP Regulation 1272/2008

Regulation 521/2019 was published in the Official Journal and entered into force on the twentieth day after publication.

The changes concern:

- generic threshold values

- the categorization criteria and the label elements of flammable gases

-the table on the classification criteria of substances and mixtures in contact with water that develop flammable gases

-part 3 of Annex I on acute toxicity

-the part of Annex IV on the precautionary recommendations recommended for each class and category of danger.

 

Regulation 521/2019 applies starting from October 17th 2020.
