ECHA: Notification center online poison notification portal

The PCN portal (Poison Center Notification) of ECHA is online to support companies in fulfilling their obligations under Article 45 of the CLP Regulation.

The portal allows companies to send notification to poison control centers in the various countries of the European Community

 

To make the notification it is necessary:

1- Register on the ECHA website

2- Prepare the dossier according to the different methods:

-online on the ECHA portal

-offline using IUCLID

-using an integrated company system

3- Send the presentation file in the following ways:

-online through the ECHA portal

-through the portal of the country in which the product is marketed

-using the S2S system (System to system)

 

A list of countries and languages ​​accepted by each EU country for notification has been published.

At present it is possible to start preparing notifications using the EU portal, but Member States are not yet able to receive notifications.
