Chemicals compliance
The European Commission has opened a "call for data" for 14 substances identified as endocrine disruptors used in cosmetic products, in order to protect human health as required by Regulation 1223/2009.
The SCCS will evaluate potentially dangerous substances on a case-by-case basis.
The Commission has identified a list of substances with higher priorities such as:
