By March 2020 the 14th ATP will be published which will include titanium dioxide as a category 2 carcinogen.
During the scrutiny phase, some MPs tried to oppose the inclusion of titanium dioxide in the 14th ATP, but the proposal was rejected.
The new classification will have to be applied starting from September 2021.
