CLP: PROPOSAL FOR CLASSIFICATION AND HARMONIZED LABELING FOR TWO SUBSTANCES

Until 14 May 2021 it is possible to participate in the consultation for proposals for harmonized classification for the following substances:

-1,2-benzisothiazol-3 (2H) -one; 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (CAS 2634-33-5): already has a harmonized classification such as H302 H315 H318 H317 H400, the proposed harmonized classification is H302, H330, H318, H317B H400 H410

The substance is used in biocidal products, plant protection products and as an ingredient in cosmetics and personal care products.

-1,4-Benzenediamine, N, N'-mixed Ph and tolyl derivs; Reaction mass of N-phenyl, N'-o-tolyl-phenylene diamine, N, N'-diphenyl-p-phenylene diamine and N, N'-di-o-tolylphenylene diamine (CAS 68953-84-4) the proposal provides the
classification as H317 H360FD. The substance is present in metals, wood and building materials, tires, textiles, brake pads, furniture, toys, footwear, leather products, paper and cardboard products and electronic equipment.
