Chemicals compliance
The project of updating the Community-wide rotation action plan (CoRAP) for the years 2018-2020 was published on ECHA's website.
CoRAP has decided to evaluate 107 substances: 26 substances in 2018, 37 in 2019 and 44 in 2020.
ECHA encourages registrants of the substances listed to start coordinating and contact the authorities of the Member States responsible for the evaluation. Downstream users are encouraged to review the information they hold and share them with the registrants.
It is important that the uses, exposure scenarios and exposure estimates are updated. For the 26 substances to be assessed in 2018, dossier updates, if necessary, should be made before March 2018.
The list of substances shall contain the name, EC number, CAS number, probable evaluation year, contact details of the Member State responsible for the evaluation and a brief indication of the main reasons why the substance is of concern.
The final plan will be adopted in March 2018.
