ECHA: Consultation on four phthalates for updating their Authorisation List entries with endocrine disrupting properties

The European Commission is preparing to amend Annex XIV of the authorizations for the identification of four phthalates as substances of very high concern (SVHC) with effects of endocrine interference on human health or the environment.

Phthalates are:

  • DEHP
  • DBP
  • BBP
  • DIBP

As a result, some previously exempted uses may require authorization.
