REACH: REACH: the deadline of 31 May 2018 has passed, how to do?

On 31 May 2018 it was the last opportunity to present the registration dossier for phase-in substances, manufactured and imported in concentrations higher than 1 tonne / year.

If the registration dossier has not been submitted by that date, it is not possible to produce or import the substance in Europe from 1 June 2018.

How to proceed:

  • if the substance has been pre-registered or an inquiry has been made it is possible to proceed with registration
  • if the substance has not been pre-registered and it has not been possible to submit an inquiry it is necessary to submit a request before registration.

If the dossier is sent after May 31st, it is necessary to wait until the registration number is received before resuming or starting the manufacture or importation of the substance.
