On 3 April 2024, Regulation 2024\/996 amending Annexes II, III, V and VI of Regulation (EC) No 1223\/2009 was published.<\/p>\n

Below is the list of the amendments:<\/p>\n

Annex II (prohibited substances): the substance 4-Methylbenzylidene Camphor (CAS: 36861-47-9\/38102-62-4) is added to Annex II.<\/p>\n

The ban applies from:<\/p>\n

– 1 May 2025 for new products;
\n– 1 May 2026 for products already placed on the market.<\/p>\n
