COSMETIC: Regulation (EU) 2019/680 which modifies Annex VI

On April 30, 2019, Regulation (EU) 2019/680 was published, amending Annex VI of Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009.

Phenylene Bis-Diphenyltriazine CAS number 55514-22-2 is safe at a concentration of 5%, as a UV filter in sunscreen products and other products, only for dermal application and not for products that can lead to exposure to by inhalation.

This Regulation shall enter into force on the 20th day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
