COSMETIC: published a glossary of the common denominations of the ingredients to be used in the labeling of cosmetic products

COMMISSION DECISION (EU) 2019/701 has been published which establishes a glossary of the common denominations of the ingredients to be used in the labeling of cosmetic products.

The glossary contains a list of the common denominations of the ingredients that must be shown on the label.

The glossary must take into account internationally recognized nomenclatures, including the international nomenclature of cosmetic ingredients (INCI).

For the dyes other than those intended for coloring the piliferous areas, the CI (Color Index) nomenclature must be used.
