CLP: IX ATP discrepancy factors M for copper

On 1 March 2018 the IX CLP of the CLP entered into force.

In the IX ATP there is a significant discrepancy between the English and the Italian version regarding the M factor for copper compounds for the classification of mixtures with regard to long-term (chronic) aquatic toxicity.

To clarify the issue, the Ministry of Environment responded to a question, in which it believes it can adhere to the opinion expressed by ECHA that the use of factor M is mandatory for the determination of the only acute toxicity of the substances and mixtures containing copper compounds.
