REACH and CLP: National control plan for chemical products 2018

On 17 April 2018 the National Plan of Chemical Control Activities 2018 was published, which concerns the application of the REACH and CLP Regulations for the current year.

The controls are focused on:

• substances as such or present in mixtures or articles both in quantitative and toxicological and ecotoxicological relevance, in local production
• substances as such or present in mixtures or articles, referred to in the candidate list, referred to in Annexes XIV and XVII of REACH

REACH verification of the obligations of:

• authorization, restriction, pre-registration, registration
• notification of substances contained in articles
• communication along the supply chain
• compliance of the eSDS
• draft the report on chemical safety and the application of RMMs

CLP verification of the obligations of:

• classification, labeling and packaging of substances and mixtures
• exemptions from labeling and packaging requirements
• labeling and packaging for liquid laundry detergents intended for consumers contained in single-use soluble packaging
• notification of classification to ECHA

Among the priority criteria of the business selection plan, there are companies that have pre-registered substances but have not completed the registration process.
