Canada Prohibits Certain Single-Use Plastics

Canada recently issued SOR/2022-138 ‘Single-use Plastics Prohibition Regulations’ to ban the sale of certain single-use plastic products.

The categories of banned products, along with their dates of implementation of the ban, are listed in the table below:
