Regulation 2022/2195 amending Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 on cosmetic products has been published.

The amendments concern the use of the following ingredients Butylated Hydroxytoluene (CAS: 128-37-0), Acid Yellow 3 (CAS: 8004-92-0), Homosalate (CAS: 118-56-9), and HAA299 (CAS: 919803-06-8).

The Regulation also rectifies cosmetic legislation regarding the use of Resorcinol (CAS: 108-46-3) in cosmetic products.

The Regulation was published on 10 November 2022 and will enter into force on 30 November 2022.
