Ecolabel

EU Ecolabel is a voluntary ecological mark based on a selective criteria system, defined on a scientific basis.

EU Ecolabel considers the environmental impacts of products or services along the entire life cycle and it is certified by an independent authority.

EU Ecolabel has the voluntary Type I label characteristics (as defined by UNI ISO 14024 standard):

  • it is based on criteria defined on a scientific basis in relation to the entire life cycle of the products (starting from the extraction of raw materials, to the production, packaging and transport, use and recovery and disposal phases). The criteria concern various environmental aspects including the use of energy, water, chemicals and waste production (multi-criteria system), but also the functionality of the product and the quality of its performance

Cepra offers a customer support service in all phases of the eco-label application submission process as well as verifying the suitability of the application:
Cepra services:

  • Support in maintaining relationships with suppliers and guiding them in communicating the data necessary for studying the life cycle of the product in question.
  • Make sure that the customer is in possession of all the technical criteria to be able to deliver the application for certification, if the technical criteria are missing we will work side by side to obtain them.
  • Guiding the client in writing the documentation.
  • Once the certification has been obtained, Cepra will continue to follow the customer for its renewal.
